e-Community Network Development Project

On October 15, 2003, forty-five members of the community met to hear Bill Shuffstall, a Penn State University Extension Community Development Agent share insights on community network development. The purpose of community networks and associated components is to provide the entire community with access to and training on the tools of digital technologies. As a result of this presentation and discussion, Champaign County has created an "e-Community" Network Development Project to pursue 21st century capacity building activities displayed in the "project web" below.
